Easy does it. Does this work in skincare too? If you're lucky, they do. Sometime, you just need to take a leap of faith. If you're ready to explore some skincare hacks, here are 5 things you should try out.
Apply moisturizer on damp skin
Doing so allows the moisturizer to easily penetrate your skin, allowing it to work better whilst sealing in the moisture. A water-based moisturizer works best for all skin types but particularly for dry skin.
Oily skin? Carry blotting papers
As oil builds up over the face during the day, carry along blotting papers in your purse. If you notice any build up, just dab your t-zone, chin and nose with the blotting papers to soak up the oil. It's that simple. Throw out the used blotting paper after.
Having breakouts? Cleanse morning and evening
Breakouts can be tough to deal with, whether they are hormonal or not. A healthy balance of cleansing and letting your face be is recommended. Ideally, cleanse twice daily, morning and evening. And never go to bed with makeup on under any circumstances. Always moisturize with the Facial Moisturizer after cleansing.
An oil cleanse will do you good
Why do we need to do an oil cleanse? It helps in the deep cleansing of the pores and helps remove dead skin cells as well. For soft, smooth and well-hydrated skin, first cleanse your face. Then apply any body oil of your choice to your face and rub in circular motions for about 10-15 minutes. Use a warm face towel to wipe off the oil and moisturize. Say hello to fresh skin!
Bye-bye puffy eyes
If you had a late night or just stressed out, then you need to work some magic on your eyes. All you need are two chamomile tea bags. You can alternatively use green tea bags or black tea bags. Boil these tea bags (like you're preparing tea), then place them in the freezer overnight. When ready to apply, cleanse your face, close your eyes and place one tea bag on each eye lid. Relax for about 10 minutes. The caffeine in the tea bags will do the rest of the magic. Moisturize your face as usual and voila!
