Self care is necessary care, let's help you care for your skin

Dark spots, be gone!

Acne blemishes, dark spots, urgh! Getting rid of them can be so tough sometimes but not impossible. For most of us, the dream is to have and maintain an even skin tone. Dark spots on our face are usually caused by acne/pimples, hormonal changes, using very harsh skin care products and exposure to the sun. Let's look at different ways of getting rid of these stubborn scars

Aloe Vera

Don't we just love aloe vera? If you have an aloe vera plant at home, cut a piece and apply it on your face for about 30 minutes every morning and evening and rinse it off with water. Moisturize after. Aloe vera is non-toxic and safe to use for all skin types.

Moringa

Do you know moringa has Vitamin C in it? Not only does it remove dark spots from your face but also boost collagen, prevents the formation of wrinkles and gives you a natural glow. Now back to the dark spots, using moringa or moringa products helps prevent the formation of acne, clears dark spots and pimples. If you do not have the moringa plant near you, the Moringa Shea Butter Bar Soap or the Moringa Face and Body Scrub are perfect substitutes from Kaydua Luxury

Apple Cider Vinegar

The acetic acid in apple cider vinegar helps in lightening dark spots on your face. Mix equal parts of apple cider vinegar with water. Apply the mixture on the dark spots and leave on for about 3-5 minutes. Rinse with water and moisturize.

Turmeric

Turmeric is a wonder product for lightening dark spots and scars. It has anti-bacterial properties which helps fight acne breakouts. Turmeric is best used when mixed with milk, lemon juice or vinegar. The Turmeric Shea Butter Bar Soap has the added benefit of clearing your pores and moisturizing your skin as well.

 Sweet Almond Oil

There's a difference between the almond oil used for cooking and the one suitable for the skin (and hair). It contains Vitamin E and Niacin which gives the skin an even tone. Sweet Almond oil is very light and doesn't clog your pores which makes it ideal for use as a natural moisturizer for your skin both morning and evening

Dark spots eventually go off after treatment and it could take anywhere between 2 months to 2 years (or more) to clear. Though frustrating, be consistent with your skin care routine and be patient! You will definitely get there. In case of further skin consultation, please do not hesitate to contact us on Facebook or Instagram or via +233 596 050 073.
