Self care is necessary care, let's help you care for your skin

5 Ways To Boost Your Skincare Routine

In as much as we want our skin to be healthy overnight, it doesn't work that way. This is why it is incumbent on us to be consistent in our resolve for healthy skin. This doesn't come easy though. The hustle and bustle of everyday life gets in the way. Here are a few tips and tricks to boost your skincare routine.

Wash and moisturize your face daily

Facial skin is more sensitive compared to the other parts of the body. This is why it needs special attention. To improve your facial care, endeavour to wash your face everyday, at least twice daily - morning and evening. Use the Shea Butter Bar Soap, specially formulated to be gentle on your skin. Follow it up with a Facial Moisturizer

Massage products into your skin

When it comes to applying skincare products, there's no wrong or right way. However, there are effective ways of doing so. Especially for facial care, gently massage moisturizers, oils and serums on your face daily. Doing this just a few minutes a day will help in making the skin look less puffy and feel more rested.

Exfoliate!

One of the best things you can do for your skin is to exfoliate. Using a Face and Body Scrub at least 2-3 times weekly helps in removing any dead skin cells, particles or impurities lodged in the pores of the skin which usually results in acne formation. Exfoliation is one of the many ways of reducing the formation of acne. No matter how busy your schedule is, incorporate exfoliation into it. You'll be glad you did.

Drink water

You've heard it a million times, we know! It's not just a myth. Drinking water helps in getting rid of certain toxins within the body. Particularly for skincare, it keeps your skin hydrated, maintains its elasticity and keeps it refreshed. It also gives it a natural glow, something we all want. So it's time to drink up.

Incorporate fruits and vegetables in your diet

Fruits and vegetables are generally good for your health. They are rich in antioxidants and essential vitamins to keep the skin healthy. Green vegetables such as spinach and broccoli and brightly coloured fruits including apples, bananas, strawberries and oranges are a great addition to your diet.

There's nothing magical about skincare. However, when things are done right and consistently, we get to enjoy the benefits of healthy skin. For further consultation on skin care, please do not hesitate to contact Kaydua Luxury on +233 596 050 073 or @kaydualuxury via Facebook and Instagram.
