Keep your face clean
Of course, we keep our face clean all the time. During this time though, keep your skin clean using your regular facial care products devoid of any oils especially if you have very oily skin. A mild facial cleanser and moisturizer does the trick.

Anti-hormonal acne diet
Pay close attention to what you eat during this period. Fruits, vegetables, nuts and fish are perfect things to eat. Coconut oil, avocado, dark chocolate and carrots are also perfect. Eliminate sugary foods completely.
Sometimes, spot treatment is the way to go. Apply aloe vera to the affected area and wash off after 20-30 minutes. You can equally use soaked green tea bag on the affected area. The anti-inflammatory properties help reduce the inflammation caused by the acne.
